Three light settings, longer battery life would be nice.Bought for my dad and he loves it.The light is great for working outside at night, really lights up a good size area. The tri-pod on the other hand is terrible. The set screw for the legs broke the first time I used it. I should have done more research and spent the money for a higher quality tri-pod.On high, it's last just as the listing says, roughly 1 hour 50 minutes and about 4 hours on low.STEPLESS DIMMING whatever setting you have it on, press and hold the power button and it will brighten or dim relatively without flashing in between steps.BATTERY HEALTH BARS this is located on the back hinge area of the light, when the light is fully its partially covered but still visible if you walk around behind the light to see it.OUTPUT ON HIGH The light on high output in the wee hours of the morning is enough for 2 people to work in the same area, but the light needs to be within 15 feet of your workspace to benefit from not squinting to see. It is room filling in a smaller space such as 14' by 20' feet if set in a corner. OUTPUT ON MEDIUM AND LOWare good for small areas, such as working on a car, at a work bench or localized home improvement tasks. These settings are where you'll get the most battery life upto roughly 4 hours on low.GENERIC TRIPOD and LIGHT ORIENTATION It's not the most robust tripod but doesn't need to be since the light is only a few pounds. It's legs need to be on fairly level ground since they aren't individually adjustable. The footprint with the legs fully extended out is 33" in diameter but you can adjust them smaller. It comes with a specific fitting you place in the top which this light attaches to, so don't lose it or you'll be rigging something up. The tripod has a 3/8" threaded female insert you could use for camera equipment if needed. The light while on the tripod cab swivel 360 degrees on the plane, and the head can be aimed roughly 340 degrees. Both functions have a set screw to lock it in place.CHARGING CORDS CAN BE USED WHILE CHARGINGit comes with a 47" long brick wall cord and a 42" long12V cigarette lighter cord for charging. Both measurements are of actual usable cord length not the barrel end or lighter plug and brick wall plug. Something nice is this can be used while charging from either cord. If you have a compatible solar panel it will charge and run it also. You can also run or recharge this off a power station.OVERALL THOUGHTS It's a nice light in lieu of dragging out our large corded light plant. The light housing seems durable enough for daily use, being tossed around in a pickup. It's not the best lighting for general outdoor construction but works well for localized settings or to take camping. I certainly wouldn't mind if the battery capacity was double that when on high, I'm sure the plastic housing could accommodate the additional batteries. I would prefer if this had a smaller tripod with individual adjustable legs, and a carry case for both the light and tripod. Also In general I'm pleased with it and it's more convenient to use if you don't need lighting for a long period of time.[Overall Impression]The light itself seems rugged enough, the performance is good and I am pleased with its ability to provide ample light for grilling, painting, outdoor activities at night as well as. working while power is out. The tripod quality is disappointing but it does function fairly well on level surfaces when not disrupted.[Build Quality: Light]Grade: BBuild quality on the light itself is good. Most parts are plastic but the things that need to be re-enforced are ( the mounting socket) This doesn't feel quite up to the quality of say a pelican case but it does not deform or bend easily . Overall I think it will hold up well.[Build Quality: Tripod]Grade: CI should have looked at the pictures better. You can see the joints are rather weak and consist of just a rivet or pin through tubular steel. The locking mechanism to set feet on the base does not work well. Its basically a set screw that pinches the tubular steel. This little amount of friction isn't enough to keep the legs set. You could try to twist the set screw till the base deforms but that seems like a bad idea. I'll probably try to find some friction clamps (like the ones on a bicycle seat post) that will fit or I'll drill a hole to make a slot for the set screw.[Electronics]The led has a reasonable interface. A single waterproof button to cycle between:1) Low Light (Both Lights 50%) ( 3.6 hour run time)2) High Light (Both Lights) (1.8 hour run time)3) Dim Single Light (30% ) 6 hour4) off.The unit can be charged with 12-24V DC (by car) with the included car charger which is niceThe charge time is about 4.5 hours[Bonus]The diffuser on the LEDs is an eye-saver. I didn't think about it when I purchased but really appreciate it now that I am using it and realize that if I accidently glance into the light I am not stuck seeing artifacts for the next 10 minutes.[Verdict]Not bad overall if used infrequently. Due to the quality of the tripod I would not consider this for professional work. The diffuser on the spotlight is a great upgrade that would make me recommend this for casual usage. If using for casual usage consider buying some after market clams to set the tripod.Good quality, the light lasts about 2 hours before dying and the adjustable brightness is a nice feature. I would call this one a solid 4 star buy.I like the brightness it does the job to light up a big work area. Once the light is opened all the way it is a bit flimsy doesn't affect the light. but the stand cross support bent way to easy it was my fault but it didn't offer much resistance till I noticed that it was bent. Worst then what the picture shows because I was trying to straighten it out and pictures show after the fact. It is a good stand with light just need to be careful and don't do what I did.I having flood lights without being chained to an outlet. You can check out my photos to see the actual brightness of how it looks. (I adjusted my camera aperture/setting to look as close to my eye as possible)You can toggle to turn on just half a light as well. (but it's the same half side only; it doesn't switch/do half of the other side)I like that it folds down to be more compact and easy to carry. The included tripod is solid. It provides a little less than 2 hours on full brightness.I mistakenly assumed that this item would work with the Lovork 1600LM. It needed an adapter. I contacted Lovork customer service and they immediately sent an adapter. The best customer service I have seen in a long time. The light and tripod are have worked really well.
