Very satisfied with this light. Vendor was great at responding to questions and concerns.These lamps were a little difficult to install. Depending on the type of gem box you may need to bore out a well so that the set screws can be installed properly. I did not receive any bug nuts or screws or hardware for installation in any of the four lantern boxes. you only get two set screws and a round ring plate to mount to your electrical box. I had plenty of spare parts to do the installation myself but for many do-it-yourselfers you may not have the right tools or hardware to install yourself. This was a little disappointing since I have other Quoizel lights in my home.We replaced the lights over 3 doors with 3 of these and they look very classy and fit perfectly with our 100 year old craftsman style home. We originally tried the smaller size but they were too small for the look we wanted on our front porch entrance so we went up a size and it was exactly right for that application. The lamps are heavy duty - much heavier and better made that several others we bought and sent back. The finish was beautifully done and looks high quality. Very happy with the quality, finishes, workmanship and materials in this lamp, especially at this price point.I have two of these light fixtures, the post light and a light up against the house. The glass is so pretty and makes such a beautiful light when lit. I personally like the weatherproof material they’re made out of which feels more like plastic, but it holds up so well without any worry about rusting.I do like this light, but wish it had built-in day/night and motion sensors. The fixture looks great on my deck, it provides great light, but I am always looking for ways to improve energy efficiency and minimize human energy expenditure ... and to save the fireflies, of course! If anybody knows of a way to add this capability, I would love to see it added to this comment thread.We replaced the lights over 2 doors that go out over a second floor porch. We originally tried these over our main entrance, but felt they were too small for the look we wanted on our front porch entrance. They are perfect for these secondary doors on second level.
